Chinese evergreens are excellent, easy-care foliage plants for novice plant parents and are more than radiant enough to satisfy demanding houseplant aficionados. If you're not already a fan, this 12-pack of assorted live Aglaonemas will quickly acquaint you with this beautiful species and its cultivars. Alongside the handsome deep green and generous silver-gray of Aglaonema commutatum, cultivars of the species showcase dazzling shades of red, pink, chartreuse, gold, green, cream, and more. These variegated wonders open up a world of possibilities, allowing you to match them with decorative pots or other home décor elements. Leaf colors vary, as do the shapes; the large, glossy leaves are attached to short stems and may be oblong, elliptic, lance-shaped, or oval. The plants bear a resemblance to another houseplant favorite, dieffenbachias. Native to shady and humid Asian tropical forests, Chinese evergreens are slow-growing plants suitable for medium to bright, indirect light. While they tolerate low light, placing them in spots with brighter light will help maintain their variegation. Since they grow at a relaxed pace, you can enjoy your Aglaonemas without immediately plotting their next moves or wondering about pruning for space. They prefer consistently lightly moist soil, but like many houseplants, they're not fans of waterlogged soil. Water again when the top couple of inches of soil are dry. They rarely bloom as houseplants.

This was a really cute book! I think this book could suit a variety of ages as it’s a cute little story but also sort of educational. The illustrations were cute! We will be keeping it in our winter book rotation

Every elementary teacher needs this book!!!
Every teacher needs this book. It's not just for young grades who are learning to count, but for older grades who are learning about organisms, habitats, and the animal kingdom!! It is so chalk full of information! The opportunities to use it in the classroom abound! The illustrations are amazing! The song is wonderful, and easy for children to learn, not to mention that it is a melody that many children already know. The best buy!
